Customer Question

I woke up six days ago to soreness in my ankle. It faded as the day went on. I did not twist it or strain it the day prior. Every morning I wake up and it's progressively worse to the point where today I cannot put weight on it. What might be going on here

Thanks for the question.

There are a number of possibilities.

Tendon deterioration [tendoinosis]

Old injury acting up.

A problem higher up in the leg or in the lower spine.

You need an exam for a correct diagnosis.

Maybe an imaging such s x ray or MRI, depending.
