Wel unexplained Bruising on Leg can be caused due to various causes like -Strenuous physical activity can result in damage to small blood vessels. The blood then leaks out and a bruise forms.

-Sun Exposure

-Vitamin B12, C, K and folic acid deficiency.

-Reduced Body Fat

-Blood related diseases and conditions can cause excessive bruising include thrombocytopenia, hemophilia, leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, and platelet dysfunction.

-Thyroid dysfunction.

Stasis dermatitis

Venous insufficiency.

As you have lots of bruises developing for last few weeks so you shouldn't ignore it and see your doctor for blood work and color doppler study of lower limbs.

Elevate your legs.

Do regular exercises.

If you have pain, warm and tenderness to touch in calf then visit ER.

Hope this helps.
