My 88 yr old mother is having total numbness in both legs from the thigh to bottom of feet. Only last a few minutes & doesn't hurt. Any answers?

There is a variety of problems that can do this

But if it only lasts a few minutes, it is likely nerve related

At her age I would look at the spine. Probably spinal stenosis

An xray or MRI of the spine is the first step.
