Every time I staND up from sleeping I feel like I'm standing

Customer Question

Every time I staND up from sleeping I feel like I'm standing on nails. It's super painful and has caused me to fall over. Any ideas? It's been going on for over a year and progressively getting worse.

This is Dr. David

poor circulation or neuropathy damage to your nerves in your legs can cause your legs to feel like you are standing on nails.

you need to see a doctor and get your nerves evaluated with an MRI scan of your back and blood vessels evaluated with a doppler ultrasound scan of your legs to check for poor circulation and nerve compression causing your pains.

do you have a doctor you cans see who can do some testing for you?
