I am getting what feels like a cramp in my right hand , esp when on computer, index finger and ring fingers seem most affected. They feel numb like, after I rest hand, its better, could this be carpal tunnell?

Thanks for your question.It can be carpal tunnel syndrome. Other possibilities also need to be ruled out.These include pronator teres syndrome, overuse syndrome and nerve compression as a result of cervical spondylosis. A simple nerve conduction velocity test would help establish if this indeed is a carpal tunnel syndrome.
