I have selling in my right ankle and pain from my right hip all the way down my leg. I feel tremendous pressure in my knee while standing. Is this something I should be overly concerned about??

Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

Yes this is concerning.

Blood clot in the saphenous vein or DVT is a serious concern here.

Needs to be ruled out by doppler ultrasound.

Another likely possibility can be sciatica or nerve compression at the lower spine causing symptoms.

Please go to your doctor or urgent care today.
Best wishes,
