Hello. It would depend on the type of tremor, but it is unlikely that DBS would help most tremors as it relates to MS. The reason is that MS causes segmental demyelinatiion along pathways, especially effecting those motor pathways to the spinal cord, which can cause a certain type of tremor, or specific nuclei, like the red nucleus, giving a rubral tremor that would not respond to DBS. Has anyone suggested that approach? What is your tremor like? Does it effect your whole body or arms/legs? Dr Frank
