How do you have to get the tendon reattached to your knee

This is Dr. David

a complete patella tendon tear will disrupt the soft tissue into two pieces.

a partial patella tendon tear will not completely disrupt the soft tissue. This is similar to a rope stretched so far that some of the fibers are torn, but the rope is still in one piece.

you have to see a doctor to get an MRI and exam of the knee to know if you have a partial tear or complete tear.

a very strong force is needed to completely tear the patella tendon.
