Customer Question

I have been strangely ill for over 2 years with parasentithis, cognitive issues and pain, balance issues etc. Recently a college and I were talking aboutnmy symptoms a she said they mirror some of the symptoms related to Guillene Barre syndrome. I have seen many Dr's including Neuro and this has never come up. My symptoms did appear after some shots. is there a specific way to get a Dr. to look at this? My current Dr. recently told me she has no answer for me, sometimes these things happen and to wait for it to go away

Hello and welcome to JA

There is a chronic form of GBS guillian barre syndrome called CIDP. for chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy. There are axonal, demyelinating and mixed forms. You can have primarily motor or sensory forms. The neurologic exam is key. Emg/ncv studies and sometimes lumbar puncture confirms the diagnosis.
