Amantadine is a parkinson's disease drug.
It is not optimal unless you have parkinson's symptoms.
It might help with restless legs syndrome.

So that would be my next step.
If you have seizure activity there are much better drugs.
The neurologist should be ordering this test.

As you will note, I said seizure activity on EEG.
You might not have seizures that you can see.
There are all types.
A differerent drug, called lamital, might work a lot better.
You need to be seeing a neurologist for these symptoms.
That is my I am recommending a medicine that stabilizes the brain and the mood.
Such as lamictal, or gabapentin, or others in this class.
