Customer Question

I had a root canal done on #29 a week ago. For about 5 days I have had severe neck and shoulder pain and bad spasms. It doesn't seem to be getting any better. At times I can't even lift my right arm. Is this related to the root canal? What should I do?

usually a root canal would not cause these symptoms
it sounds like you have a pinched nerve in your back or neck spine causing neck and shoulder pain and spasms and weakness in your arms.
you could have herniated a disk in your neck or upper back during the root canal procedure if you were lying in a poor position.
you should see your doctor and get a spine MRI scan to see if you have a pinched nerve coming out of your spine.
do you have a doctor you can see who can check on your nerves?
