Hello from JustAnswwer.
There are many possible causes of headache, including muscle contraction headaches, migraine headaches, sinus headaches, etc. However, there are limited options available over the counter to try to help with headache. In addition to the ibuprofen, acetaminophen may help, and will augment the ibuprofen since it works by a different mechanism. If it is a sinus headache, then taking an antihistamine/decongestant may be helpful. It also may help to apply local care, such as ice packs.
There are a number of other medicines available by prescription, although the options would depend upon the type of headache, so if these interventions are not effective, it would be appropriate to be seen.
