I have intense intermittent pain at the juncture of my nail

Customer Question

I have intense intermittent pain at the juncture of my nail and finger on my right ring finger. It is chronic-over a year. No injury or infection. It usually begins in the middle of the night. About every 30 seconds. It is exquisitely tender if accidentally bumped.

Hi there ...This could be the manifestation of cervical spins problem or localized nerve compression in base of finger .I will suggest you to have MRI Cervical spine and X ray hand to check for nerve issue , so that appropriate treatment may be offered to you .Regards .
