Long history here... I am 28 yrs old. Born with Poland's Syndrome (missing left pec major/minor and part of left bicep) had posterior fossa decompression for Chiari Malformation last year and venous thoracic outlet decompression this summer. This September, I had a blood clot in my subclavian vein (same one that was decompressed in June). They found the blood clot on an MRV and went they went to do the venogram the clot had dissolved on its own through blood thinners although they did venoplasty the vein because of residual scarring. Since the blood clot episode I have been experiencing EXTREME fatigue and a dull aching pain in my sternum. Sometimes the sternumn pain is prominent than others but it basically a constant ache. I've had a chest X-ray, echo, and blood work all show up negative. I don't feel comfortable waiting for the pain to subside because I haven't been given even a possible diagnoses. When I had the blood clot I became very sick with violent vomiting. I was thinking this could be the cause of the sternum pain but I am on Meloxicam 7.5 mg twice a day which you would think would help with that kind of pain after an entire month. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Yes, EKG last week that was negative. I had a stress test done last year as part of a general cardiology visit.
They haven't given me anything really. I was told to wait and see... go back to the doctor in a month
I am currently taking Meloxicam 7.5mg twice daily for previous neck pain. Will this help with the recovery?
