Resolved Question:

i drove three hours home and during the ride my right foot was bothering me..i got home climbed the stairs walked fine and looked down at my right foot and on the outside my ankle was swollen. my toes tingle a little no pain just noticeable discomfort

no...and it is not as swollen as it was yesterday and i have been out and standing at service for a little bit...when i felt it yesterday it was just droppy puffy like a small size breast.

This can be
A small clot...you are not giving a lot of indications of this..but it needs to be examined for this reason.
Bad veins in that leg..very early, not really bad disease..but an ultrasound would show this..as would it show a clot.
Infection: it would be spreading
Autoimmune disease or arthritis....not a lot of symptoms to indicated this.

This does not sound like an emergency given the location, but I would ask your doctor to examine it tomorrow..if it develops further go to the ER.
