The best treatments will often be as little as possible, as all of the medications for Parkinson's do have side effects. When the symptoms do start to become worse (which they will, unfortunately), there are dopamine related medications which are started, which help to ameliorate the symptoms. However, as time goes on, the dosage of medication usually increases, and side effects also increase as well. At this point in time, there is no "cure" for this condition, but there is vigorous research being done to see if therapies, such as stem cell implantation in the brain can be used in the future for this condition. However, such treatments are years away.
