Hello welcome to just answer.
My views expressed are for educational purposes only.
Do you tingling or numbness besides pain?
No
Ok. If you don't have numbness and tingling and just pain then its likely to be arthritis.
this occurs when one has inflammation of joints.
This doesn't feel like a joint. It feels like it is in deep tissue. Could this be a blood clot. It is on the inside of my arm, not the elbow or bone.
Not likely to be a blood clot unless your arm was immobile.
No, I am very active.
is ita peircing sharp pain?
No, a constant pain.
is it throbbing or sharp contestant pain?
A sharp consistant pain. Probably a level 5.
It can be arthritis pain which can cause muscle stiffness. you would need x ray for diagnosing.
So you do not feel that these are symptoms that I should seek immediate attention (emergency room) for?
Yes should go to ER if you are in too much pain where you will be able to get quick diagnosis.
If my symptoms are not indicative of a blood clot then I would not think that I would want to go to emergency. Do you think that taking an anti inflamatory would help since you think it is arthritis?
Blood clots would cause throbbing pain and not sharp pain. You can try aleve to ease the pain. But you would need x ray for further evaluation.
Thank you very much!
you're welcome
