Customer Question

I accidentally consumed chocolate that contained hash at a party. I went into a really heavy high, but never recovered. My brain has been floaty, cloudy, and I feel like I'm not in my body. I took this on Friday, today is Tuesday. Help, I don't know what is going on, or if I should go to the hospital. I'm terrified that this might have resulted in brain damage. Everything feels as if I'm dreaming.

DrBrain : Hello welcome to just answer.
DrBrain : My views expressed are for educational purposes only.
DrBrain : Yes you should take immediated medical attention as this can lead to damage to the brain.
DrBrain : This may remain in the body for weeks so it's adviced to see the doctor for further evaluation.
Customer :

Should I call a psychologist? I'm currently a college student on my parent's insurance plan

DrBrain : No you should go to ER.
Customer :

I'm nowhere near home, and not familiar with the hospitals in this town

Customer :

Should it be a walk-in?

DrBrain : You should go to ER and don't drive call 911 they can help you.
DrBrain : Doctor would detox you.
Customer :

And I'm hesitant because this was a result of an illegal narcotic, whether or not I intentionally consumed it, the doctor wouldn't care. Would I get into any legal trouble?

Customer :

And what do you mean by detox? Because the effect I'm experiencing is mental rather than physical

Customer :

Would it help me in any way?

DrBrain : No you would not be in legal problem as its patient privacy law.
Customer :

Alright, but when you refer to detox, what type of procedure?

Customer :

Hello?

DrBrain : It really depends upon the hospital and doctor.
DrBrain : If you have no further questions then please press the accept button. Thank you
