Hi, my name is*****'m a certified appraiser, and I'd be happy to help. This piano dates from 1924-1930.

I have a few questions:

1) Has it ever been rebuilt or had major restoration?

2) Are you looking for a retail value, for insurance, or a possible resale value?

3) Can you please upload a photo? Case style does affect value.

Thank you.

1. It has not been rebuilt or had a major restoration. 2. Retail and resale value. 3. I don't know how to upload a photo. It is very plain with no scrolling or extra carvings on it. Just a plain upright piano. Thanks!

Thank you for your patience. I'm having some craziness right now dealing with Hurricane Matthew losses.

Unfortunately, these pianos are not in high demand and don't carry much value. A dealer would pay you perhaps $500.00 at most, and then entirely rebuild the piano. Even rebuilt, the retail value would be no more than $3,000 - $4,000.00.
