We have a 5 foot babygrand owned by atlantic recording

Customer Question

We have a 5 foot babygrand owned by atlantic recording studios we bought it 20 years ago from a musician in new Rochelle.
It has a nice burled walnut cabinet which appears to be more of a finish than real wood
It needs to be completely rebuit inside but looks great if someone wants a piece of furniture
It is a Lapiana manufacturer I cant even find them on goole
Am I better off donating it? Is it worth $1000-

Hi, my name is*****'m a certified appraiser, and I'd be happy to help.

If it's not a major brand, and needs a total rebuild, it's likely worth only around $500-$600 as a cabinet. I'd suggest donating it and taking the deduction.
