I want to sell a Hobart Spinett Piano - serial # ***** Given

Customer Question

I want to sell a Hobart Spinett Piano - serial # ***** Given to me 30 years ago, rarely used because no one in home knows how to play piano, just collecting dust. Moving to smaller home and need to sell. Approx 10 of the keys are chipped. Otherwise wood and bench are good cosmetic condition.

Thanks for your question. There are unfortunately no serial records for "Hobart" so I'll have to assume it is at least 30 years old, though could be older it sounds like. Spinet pianos aren't worth much because the key action and sound quality is not as good as larger uprights. Spinets aren't made anymore because of this. Considering the size, maker, condition and used market, I would recommend this piano be worth approximately $300-$600 depending on actual age and selling market. Best wishes! Please select a positive rating at the top before leaving--this is the only way I'm credited for working with you. Thanks!
