I have a G Schwechten upright piano serial number 38941, which was manufactured in 1909. I wish to sell the piano, but am not sure what to ask. It is in good condition, with a few slight scratches to the bottom corner on one side.
Was last tuned/serviced in 2003 & has been in storage since.

Thanks for your question!Old upright pianos are plentiful on the used market these days and have been for many years. Because of the old age and related wear prices tend to stay low unless there has been any restoration or rebuilding done. I'm hoping yours has been in climate controlled storage as storing a piano in a standard type storage unit can damage the mechanical parts over time due to temperature fluctuations and humidity. Assuming yours is in climate controlled storage, I would recommend a selling range today of approximately $150-$350 in a private sale. Best wishes!
