This accordian is in immaculate condition no cracks no damage of any sort.Leather straps are in excellent as new condition All buttons and keys are in vg to excellent condition. There is a black box blue lined slight wear. Handle is secure and usable. All red green and silver stones are intact .We do not play accordian but it sounds good to us. When opened it appears brand new and sound is appealing.

What is your e mail address? Bea
Did you get picture? Bea
No I didn't get any. The best way is to send them XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX and request they be sent to me. Make sure you send them from the email address you used to sign up with. It can take several hours to get them this way so I will respond when I receive them.
Thanks for your patience! I have received your photos and am ready to provide an answer. There's not much pricing information out there on these accordions and since this company quit making them in the 1950's there are no "new" models or examples out there which makes pricing difficult. The accordion is beautiful, with many decorative embellishments, including the keys and buttons, though with the personalization of "Bob" that detracts a bit. In examining the photos it appears this is a single reed accordion--where it doesn't have different sets of reeds for different pitches, which is surprising for a 120 bass accordion. They may be there, but I don't see a way to activate them--perhaps you know. Based on the condition visible and the description you provided I would value this at approximately $600-$1,000 in a private sale or auction setting. Best wishes!
.You are looking at the embellishment sideways!!! If you note the angle of Chiusaroli Acc Recanati Italy the BOB is merely decoration and spells nothing. Can you tell me if it is bakelite or celluloid ? What year do you believe it was made? What was the selling price new? Has it no added value for being more than 62 years old in pristine condition?
You must remember the way an accordion is held! When held correctly "Bob" would be spelled top to bottom. If it were merely a decoration the two B's would not be exactly the same. I can't tell from the photo what the keys were made of but that has little bearing on value here. It was probably made in the 1930's or 40's based on design. I wouldn't have any idea what this cost new. Since they have been out of business for over 60 years that sort of information is not readily available. Just because something is older doesn't mean it is worth more. I think the range I provided more than compensates for the assumed quality of this item. Best wishes!
