Already Tried: Nothing I bought this from the factory
Hi,
By the "V" in the serial number, this appears to be a US reissue guitar, is this correct? Can you tell me about the condition?
Please describe thsi guitar, and if you have a photo that will help a lot.

The guitar is a 1957 Vintage. There are no dents,scrapes or scratches on it. It has been used solely in a home recording studio.
There is no question of selling the guitar, but an appraisal might be worthwhile from an insurance point of view.

Do you know the year it was made?
The V serial numbers are hard to research?
I know if you take the neck off it is usually written on the end of the neck.
Is it distressed or new looking?

The guitar was manufactured in 1989 as shown in the pic.I've owned it from new.
I would estimate the value of your guitar at $1500-2000 at auction with an Insurance value of $2500.00. I have seen similar guitars sell in the $1700 range at auction. There is a nice 1982, 1957 re-issue for sale on ebay for $2600 with no bids.
