I am wondering what my Nordiska upright piano is worth. We purchased it in 2005 and it has barely been used. Model # XXXXXColor - 2151#SANo - 4550
Hello. Thank you for your question to JustAnswer. It will be a pleasure to help you with your piano appraisal. Can you please tell me the height of this piano? Also do you know when it was last tuned and has it had any restoration work done in its life time? Would it be possible to send me some pictures using paperclip/JPGEG/Microsoft Word. Thanks. John
About 46 inches tall. It has been approximately 2 years since it's been tuned. No - no restoration work has been necessary (we bought it brand new).
Hello. Thank you for the picture. This is a good looking piano. Nordiska is a Swedish company. The company was purchased by Yincon and the manufacturing was moved to China in the 1980’s. Assuming that it is a private sale, I would suggest a figure in the range of $1500 to $2000. However, as it is a buyers market and there are a lot of upright pianos for sale at the moment be prepared to negotiate.
