Resolved Question:

I bought an Elburn piano with serial number 41607. I am having a hard time finding out the history of this piano or when it was produced. Any suggestions for where I can look to find answers?

Hi, thanks for your question. I do have serial number listings for this company and can help. Are you looking for a value too? If so, please let me know if this is an upright or grand, the size and condition.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
It is an upright, very simple with no extras, good condition, measures about 43-45" tall. I was just curious about its history. Doubt it is worth anything at all. I bought it for $50 at a garage sale because I wanted to get back in to playing again.

Thanks for the information. This brand was made for the Jenkins music retailer and based on the serial this one was made in 1920. The price is about right at $50 since it is so old and was made by an unknown builder. If its in excellent condition you may be able to get $100-$150 for it but not much more. These old pianos are all over the market these days and the values are quite low. I hope this helps and wish you the best!
