steve,is away to change the drive belt eaiser other than spliting the left clutch side for this operation?
JA: Has the clutch been slipping? Are you having any trouble shifting?
Customer: no igot a 108000 and one day it will have to be changed
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: 2002 ultra classic

if you mean is there a way to do it without removing the primary chain drive and primary chaincase, the answer is no.

it's a 2 hour flat-rate job. I've done it in less. most people take longer.

the best way to do it is to just decide it has to be done and follow the procedure in the service manual.
