Actually, it's a 4 wheeler. Used to haul bow shot deer out of the woods. Battery is good, cranks good, won't start with the usual choke, can't figure it out.
JA: Have you checked the engine's fuel supply? And the spark plugs -- are they all working?
Customer: Well, it's got fuel, but no haven't pulled the plugs, although within the last 6 months I had it tuned up all over.
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: 04 Tankcher rancher
JA: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: not a competent mechanic
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Ity ran great a couple of months ago, Sits in the garage a lot.

Hi. If it does not sound like it is trying to start, you should make sure you have spark. Checking spark will also let you see if the spark plug is fuel soaked. If you have spark you are going to want to clean the carburetor. Sitting around a lot is the worst thing for the carburetor. Since when it did run, it runs good, likely you need to remove the carburetor and clean the jets out.
