HAVE A yAHMAHA 920 and the gears must be slipping. Riding along and motor will rev but bike not going faster. What to look for. This happened a few times however now it seems like it is doing it often.

Hi. Sounds like the clutch is slipping. The clutch discs should be replaced.

Thanks for the reply. I have not replaced a clutch plate before, however this is a perfect learn on the go project.I have been in hospital getting a knee replacement and I bought Yahmaha and a Susuki for projects while I recover.
