Hi, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially, determine the burn color of the spark plug.

Still, it would appear to be a carb issue; poor fuel delivery/starvation on low speed (idle). Proposed preliminary checks (if have not been done) on suspects:

  • • drain-clean tank and replace with fresh fuel (even if just to eliminate as a suspect);
  • • verify air box, filter, duct and coupling correctly fitted with no air leak;
  • • pull down/check/soak/clean the carb;
  • • use carb cleaner for soaking all the metal parts similar to the product shown HERE;
  • • clean to remove varnish like coating, residual/dried gasoline;
  • • of particular attention to the #35 slow jet item #16158 HERE (if have not been replaced);
  • • it may even be necessary to make use of special cleaning brushes similar to HERE;
  • • ensure pilot air screw # 16014 is adjusted ~1¼ out from fully in;
  • • adjust idle screw for 1250 ~ 1350 RPM.

Phone Call is treated as an added/premium service. Once accepted, the system would provide the phone link.

Otherwise and as posted above; "... determine the burn color of the spark plug...carb issue...Proposed preliminary checks..."
