My cvt belt broke and I look at my front clutch and rear.

My cvt belt broke and I look at my front clutch and rear . The pulleys donnot look aligned with each other.
JA: Has the clutch been slipping? Are you having any trouble shifting?
Customer: No. Irecently had amechanic replace clutch and belt>
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: It is a2014 roketa 49cc.

JA: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have ordered a669 17 30 belt which was toosmall and a 729 17.5 30 also too short . I compressed rear clutch, but I still could not get belt on.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I was wondering if the variator clutch should be removed to install belt?

Hello, in the case of a belt breaking or shredding it's best to remove the variator to check for any belt pieces. You will not be able to remove the nut without an impact wrench. With the variator offmake sure the rollers are still in place. The pulleys areo ut of alingment due to the belt breaking and the pullys still spinning independant ofeach other.

If you want to try putting the belt on without checking the variator for belt pieces you need to rotate the variator clock wise while pulling out to make the pully it'ssmallest diameter to install the belt.
