I don't have any lights. Brake lights and turn signals work.

Customer Question

I don't have any lights. Brake lights and turn signals work. No power to the light fuse
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: It just started. It hasn't done it before
JA: What is the model/year of your motorcycle?
Customer: 2008 electra glide
JA: Are you fixing your bike yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I used a tester on the fuses. Everything is hot except the headlamp fuse and the light fuse
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No. Thank you

Hi, my name is ***** ***** I'll be working with you today.

The most likely cause of your problem is a bad lighting relay.

The relay supplies power to both the circuits you mention that do not have power. The relay is located under the seat in a rubber mount tucked down in the crossmember behind the battery (just behind the retaining bolt on the left side).

I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Also, please leave a positive rating for my service today. Thanks, P.J.
