Ooops added too much oil in buell xb12xt, crankcase leak around case seal. Problemo? Just drain and A-Ok?

just drain some of the oil to get the correct level.

the oil tank requires an air gap to function properly.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your answer, but I do have a related question. Since the oil leaked through the primary gasket, has the gasket been compromised and will oil continue to weep through the gasket after the corrected level of oil.
