your engine requires only 3 things to start and run: spark (as in timed ignition), fuel ( as in a proper air/fuel mixture) and compression.

- if you know you have spark, you should perform a compression check. if the compression is good, you have a fuel delivery problem, but if the compression is low, that would be your problem and there is no need to dig into the fuel system.
