i have 2008 yamaha warrior that died pulling in driveway started up once but died when put in gear now wont start

Initially, have you attempted to start with the clutch lever pulled in and the side stand folded up?

Still, proposed preliminary tries (if have not been done):

  • • check for clicking sound from the starter relay when attempting to start;
  • • momentarily jump the 2 big terminals of the starter relay. Expect a big spark. This is a bypass of the starter relay to test if the starter motor would turn.
