Customer: tried charging battery id like to fix it myself
JA: Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? And can you see if it's leaking or not?

in cases like this we need to start with the basics, and in your case, the battery.

measure the battery voltage under the following conditions:

- ignition OFF.

- ignition ON.

- with the start button depressed.
