I have a 1996 polaris magnum 425 4x4 new battery, new plug, thoroughly cleaned carb (was very gummed up). Adjusted float, new fuel lines new oil filter new oil, new gas, plenty of compression still wont start.

Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...Initially, consider a test; cover the carb mouth with your palm and attempt to start. Note if there is suction and if fuel would wet your palm.Still, proposed preliminary tries (if have not been done):• verify fuel content of the carb bowl by loosening the drain screw;• remove the spark plug;• cautiously perform a spark test;• crank and note if fuel enters the combustion chamber;• ensure original air box + filter element correctly installed with no possibility of an air leak.
