Hi Allister and welcome to JustAnswer,Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...Initially, proposed preliminary tries (if have not been done):• check the burn color of all the spark plug tip;* if very light brown to almost whitish;- then possibly lean;- or even fuel starvation (most likely);* if very dark to almost blackish and sooty;- then possibly rich;- or over fuel delivery (least likely);- and check for possible over charging voltage condition (even intermittent) when attempting to rev (battery voltage should not exceed 14~15V even with max RPM).

Fuel starvation, should i replace fuel pump?
Expert:  Louie replied 1 year ago.
The prescribed procedure is to test the fuel pump's output which should be ~42.6psi. If lower or inconsistent, then replace as the the fuel pressure regulator needs this from the fuel pump in order to feed the injectors with at least 40.4 psi.
