Iam replacing the stator on my law 610 mule the old one has a 2 word connect and the new one has 3 wires can I make this work

Initially, it would appear that the new 3-wire stator is an upgrade. To be able to make use of its full potential a suitable rectifier/regulator must also replace the existing regulator.
