To begin the diagnostic you must first determine if it is a fuel problem or an ignition problem. Try letting the bike idle and get hot to see if you can duplicate the problem. If it reoccurs have a couple of spark plugs handy and disconnect the accessible plug caps on the front and rear cylinders. Slip the extra plugs into the plug caps and let them rest against the cylinder head. Crank the engine and look for spark to jump across the gap of both the visible plugs. If you have spark reinstall the plug caps back onto the plugs in the engine. Remove the air filter cover and filter. Shoot a 1 second shot of carburetor cleaner or starting fluid in the air intake. Try starting the engine. If the engine starts briefly until it burns off the starting fluid then you have determined that it is a fuel delivery problem. Let me know what you find.
