I changed from chain drive cams to gear drive in 2013 street

Customer Question

I changed from chain drive cams to gear drive in 2013 street glide. Bearings from old cam fell in the motor and the guy ran the motor. Ruined oil filter and crank sensor. Took whole motor apart and cleaned. When it is back together it acts like the timing is off. Dyno guy said he can't adjust it enough. Long story short it makes about half the hp it should. Any Ideas?

I would start by double checking the cam timing.

it is the most reasonable cause.
