I have a 2001 Vulcan classic 1500 with 26,000 miles.........I changed oil last fall Full synthetic................Went out for a ride and clutch was slipping horribly.....................Did'nt ride much this year so far........Whats up???

Hi, sounds like your clutch plates or discs are worn out. The mileage sounds high enough to warrant a clutch rebuild.

You did use motorcycle designated synthetic oil correct?

I would think you need to check the friction plates, springs and also the metal plates for warpage and burning.
