Customer Question

My '06 road star is only delivering about 10 volts to the battery. The local dealer says it is probably the stator. I've also been told it could be the regulator/rectifier. can anyone help?

I'm trying to sell the bike so I don't want to get a lot of money tied up here.

Hello, I've got a stator test procedure below, just copy and past the link in your web browser to view. If the stator and wiring check out you can go ahead with replacing the regulator. If you have any questions when you are doing the testing just reply back
