New question possible tied to previous problem 2001 Harley

Customer Question

New question possible tied to previous problem 2001 Harley FLHTCI I went through the check lists that Jeremy sent me great check list but to no avail. A local old biker said try pulling apart every electrical connection clean & Di-electrical grease them I had tried everything else so I did that and pow the bike started right up. When the original problem started 1 of the things that we noticed was I was never getting a check engine light. Now the bike start, runs, oil pressure is good, voltage is good, the bike shows no codes using the odometer, but now the check engine light stay on??

Hi, My name is***** you for letting me try and assist you with your problem.
Since the dash shows no code the engine light will be from a stored non active code.
The dash will show active codes only.

The only way to remove that is to get it cleard by the shop.
