Customer Question

My 2013 Diavel started whenever I wanted it to, but now I keep trying different variables like switch in the up position, switch in the down postion, holding the tank button longer, holding the tank button shorter. It sometimes takes more than 15m to come up with the right combination. What has happened? We're on a road trip and it's getting scary.

The tank button is only for emergencies and pin number entry,
the off/on button suffices for all other conditions.
Do any dash indicators come up regarding keyless starting
or low fob battery?
I would keep fob near the dash or in pocket alone.
Check fob battery and move bike in case there is interference
from surrounding electronics.
No need to use tank button at all in most cases.
Last resort, could be a failing antenna not
transmitting key signals. See dealer for that.
