Customer Question

2005 KX250F WITH A 13.9:1 HIGH COMPRESSIONS PISTON. ALL WORK DONE BY MYSELF. FIRST RIDE I TOOK AFTER INSTALLING THE PISTON THE BIKE HAD NO BOTTOM END POWER. THE RPMS RISE EXTREMELY SLOWLY AND THE POWER DOESNT COME ON UNTIL HALF WAY THROUGH THE RPM BAND. I HAVE AN ADJUSTABLE BOYESEN QS3 ACCELERATOR PUMP COVER. I HAVE THE STOCK MAIN AND THE PILOT SCREW 2 1/4 TURNS OUT. 1550 FEET ABOVE SEA LEVEL. USUALLY RIDE BETWEEN 70-90 DEGREES

Hello
I'd 1st check that the cam timing is correct as if this out by 4-8 degrees then you'll bias the torque curve towards the top end and lose bottom end power
