I like to do my own work on my vehicles/toys; is there specific tolerances that I will need to follow? Do I need to replace the clutches or belt if I see wear on them? What you recommend?

What Do I need to replace the clutches or belt

you will need the clutch puller for the front clutch to remove it

the belt can be removed with out any special tools.

the read or driven clutch does not need a special tools unless it is corrosion on the trans shaft.

Do you have the schematics of this so that I can have a better idea of what I will be looking for?
