Bike was running great. Had in under a cover and it rained all night and the next morning when I went to start it up it turned over once the lights went off and would not start. I charged the battery and when I turn on the key, nothing. The only other thing it may be (and I'm worried about) is that I replaced the cassette radio with a CD player and new speakers. Any help is very appreciated!Regards,Jim

ok, when you get one please charge the battery fully & get these voltages for me. Key off =Key on =Key on, start button depressed=
key off=3.51
Key on =3.49
key on start depressed = 3.48
yipes, are those dc voltage readings?.. is the battery fully charged?... you need at least 12 volts dc as you know. what you just did was a battery load test & your battery failed, quite miserably. In a load test, if the battery ever drops below 9.5 dc volts, the battery itself requires replacement. That does not mean that there is also not a charging system failure and I recommend testing for issues there as well. If the battery is not being charged, a new battery will not be of much help.
