Brian :

Good day and welcome to Just Answer. My name is XXXXX XXX I'd be happy to help you with your problem today. We can easily determine your problem if you have a battery charger & a multi meter, do you have those?

Customer :

Yes I have those

Brian :

excellent, please charge the battery until fully charged, if it already is, great, then using you meter set on dc voltage, connect the meter leads to the battery & please get these voltage readings;

Brian :

key off

Brian :

key on

Brian :

start button depressed as if trying to start

Brian :

let me know those & we'll go from there

Customer :

Key off 11.0 Key on 10.7

Brian :

& what is the reading with the start button depressed?

Customer :

I miss that I will go now check that sorry

Brian :

ok cool..

Customer :

11.0

Brian :

that can't be, you can't have 10.7 without it depressed & 11. with it depressed, are all safety switches good & start switch set to start/run?

Customer :

I have light with key on

Brian :

that doesn't matter

Customer :

ok explain again what do you mean

Brian :

you can't have more voltage with the start button depressed that with it not depressed. your tests needs done again.

Customer :

I have when I press 10.7 when I depressed 11.0

Customer :

depressed = released the botton right

Brian :

no, depressed = the button pushed in, as if starting as I said...

Customer :

That's right that is the number

Brian :

I'm now not sure what you are talking about.

Brian :

I need three readings from the battery

Brian :

key off

Brian :

key on

Brian :

start button pushed in as if you are starting the machine

Brian :

I'm not sure where this got off track, was I unclear?

Brian :

I just want to be sure you understand what we are doing

Customer :

Ok button pushed in is 10.7 depressed not depressed 11.0 I think I got it

Brian :

ok, that makes more sense, you have a bad solenoid or battery cables

Customer :

Ok Thanks I will check the cable if not I will change the solenoid

Customer :

Thank for tonight

Brian :

Thank you, let me know if you have more issues.
