Is there power?
Does it turn over?

Reply to Brian's Post: Yes, there is power and it does turn over. FYI, there is a kick stand switch feature that doesn't allow the bike to start if the bike is in gear when the kick stand is down. Maybe water messed that switch up? Thanks.

It might have, but to get around that put the bike in neutral. I think it is more likely that you got a bit of water in the intake or through the tank vent holes & it is trying to start water not fuel. I've washed thousands of bikes & not once had an electrical issue.
